What does a chassis system include?

The four main systems of a car chassis include: suspension, braking, steering, and running gear.

Suspension System: Its primary function is to support the vehicle's weight, cushion road impacts, maintain vehicle stability, and improve ride comfort. Common suspension types include MacPherson strut, double wishbone, and multi-link.

Braking System: Primarily responsible for decelerating or stopping the vehicle, ensuring driving safety. The braking system mainly consists of brakes (such as drum and disc brakes), brake lines, brake fluid, and brake boosters.

Steering System: Responsible for steering, enabling the car to change direction according to the driver's intentions. The steering system mainly consists of the steering wheel, steering gear, steering lines, steering pump, and steering rack.

Running Gear System: Includes components such as axles, wheels, and shock absorbers. Its main functions are to support the vehicle's weight, transmit power to the wheels, and distribute and absorb the impact of the road.
